Taxis can be found outside the entrance to the airport when you arrive, there is always a long line waiting for visitors of the island to arrive. This will cost you approx €20, just ask them to take you to Sands beach resort in Costa Teguise. The Hotel reception can book you a taxi for your return to airport.
Once arriving at the hotel
Although you have booked with owners of the property you will still need to check in at reception on arrival and also check out on your departure. (For security purposes) You will be asked to complete a registration form ( this is on page 2 ) and hand it in to them when you check in. (Heidi our property manager will call in to see that you are ok when you first arrive, she will also check that you have completed the form). They will also ask you to leave your credit card details as a deposit in order to cover any room charges that may be incurred during your stay. This sum will be refunded to your credit card on departure if you do not request any services to be charged to your room during your holiday. We understand this is a standard policy now adopted by many hotels.
We do ask that you please contact us directly or Heidi if you need anything at all during your holiday regarding problems with the villa or even for general information or help if needed. Heidi is only a stones throw away. Although the Hotel reception is always on hand to book you taxis or give you general information on the island. Tours can also be booked through them.
Once we have received you final payment we will give you a holiday details letter. This will give you further information for your stay.
